I guess some of you have seen my preliminar paper where my group and I we have given a different conception of the environment. In order to start a discussion, after seeking about problems in my country I can tell there are a lot. I can start with the use of glifosato for destroying the coca and amapola, and I also can tell you about the problem of a big number of cities and towns here, where there are not a good waste solids disposal. I can give you a conclussion, our culture derived from Spain (and I´m really proud of it) has been comfortable; we are not really a civil society, or I guess we´re not enough responsible for it. We´re always waiting for the gouverment actions, but the environmental problems start with us, with our attitudes. I guees that leadership on environment must be directed on create a new conception of environmental responsability. The environment can exist wuth or without us, but the human action must be responsible. If we can create a conscience of what we have to do, and based on this, we act as a Civil society, we can ask to the gouvernment to the solutions of the problems. Maybe if we act like this, the problems are easier to solve.
